Backflow devices are designed to maintain water quality by keeping pollutants and contaminates from entering the drinking water supply. Water Districts are required by the EPA and the State of California to implement a Cross Connection Control Program. We help reduce your liability by making sure your device is working properly.

Some examples of pollutants and contaminants are irrigation water, pesticides,  cleaning agents, water conditioners for boilers, X-ray developer, fire supply lines, soda machines, etc.

A-A Backflow provides backflow device testing, repair and replacement throughout Los Angeles County and Orange County.

• The City of Vernon is changing the way they schedule backflow tests. They will now require all testing to be done in January, and due January 31. This will satisfy the annual testing requirement and your normal test window will not be required. All tests will be entered online. Read Notice.
• California Water has additional field personnel and is requiring backflow installations for meter protection. Letters are being sent out weekly.
• California Water tests are going to be mailed the end of February and will be due June 15, 2020 - We can test any time after January 1st and have made arrangements with CWS to get your forms early.
• Los Angeles County Health Department now requires original forms and no longer will accept copies as of week of 1/30/2021.
• Golden State Water has sent numerous letters that require installation of new backflow devices.
